The minor league is made up of 9 and 10 year olds that are residents of South Euclid. Most of our games are played at South Euclid’s Bexley Park. The minor league in South Euclid is the first league in South Euclid where:

  • Players are not placed on a team. They are drafted onto a team by the managers.
  • Players pitch (umpires are calling balls and strikes).
  • Scores of all games are recorded.
  • There are division and playoff champions.
  • Division and playoff champions attend an awards banquet at the end of the season.

Our goal as directors is to make every child’s experience a fun and developmental one, with an emphasis on fun! As directors we attempt to accomplish this goal by:

  • Selectively picking the managers.
  • Enforcing strict pitching rules.
  • Balancing age differences on each team.
  • Making sure the environment and equipment are safe.
  • Designing a fair game schedule (ex: no more than 2 games per week, no back to back games, etc.).

The last couple of years we’ve been very successful at achieving this goal. We as directors will continue to stride towards our quest of being successful in achieving this goal. Below are a couple of answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ). If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact your child’s manager or contact any league director.

Look forward to seeing you at the fields.

Thank You,

Joe Frank — League Director
